8.0 Alpine Dry 70m Climbing Rope

<p>The 8.0 Alpine Dry 70m climbing rope with a length of 70 meters is a reliable double rope for demanding alpine use - from long multi-pitch routes and classic alpine tours to combined climbing passages with rock, snow and ice. With a diameter of 8 mm and a weight of 40 g/m, it offers a balanced combination of weight, handling and durability.</p> <p>Thanks to the dry finish, the rope is permanently water and dirt repellent. It achieves a water absorption of less than 1.5% and therefore remains light, flexible and reliable even when wet. The PFC-free DWR treatment protects the environment without compromising performance. A high shell content of 41 % provides additional abrasion resistance and durability for regular use in rough terrain.</p> <p>Certified as a half and twin rope, the rope can be used flexibly - whether for classic half-rope climbing or parallel belaying on long abseils. The "ready to climb" delivery means that no uncoiling is necessary before the first use and you can simply start climbing.</p>
