<p data-start="274" data-end="586">The Supercouloir Down jacket from La Sportiva is tailored for demanding use on ice and rock in low temperatures. Developed for alpine ice climbing, mixed routes and technical winter mountaineering, it combines maximum thermal performance with minimum weight and high abrasion resistance.</p> <p data-start="588" data-end="1034">This technical down jacket uses an innovative construction with 3D chambers, which ensures that the 1,000 cuin down filling can optimally develop its bulking power and cold bridges are avoided. The down makes up around half of the total weight and thus ensures excellent thermal performance with a small pack size. The entire jacket can be compressed to the size of a helmet - an advantage for quick ascents with little luggage.</p> <p data-start="1036" data-end="1474">The windproof Pertex&reg; Quantum outer material with Diamond Fuse technology offers very high abrasion resistance - even when in contact with ice tools or rock structures. The helmet-compatible hood is kitted out with a mesh visor and silicone strips to prevent it from slipping when belaying or on the move. A repair kit is included so that minor damage can be repaired immediately and the jacket's service life extended.</p>
