<p>The Austrialpin Fish belay device is a 68 g super light autotuber, which absorbs falls safely and smoothly, even with a rope diameter of only 8mm. The fold-out dorsal fin provides special operating comfort and brings the climber gently back to the ground.</p><p>To ensure optimal functionality, the Fish comes as a set with a perfectly fitting karabiner: Here it is the compact HMS Rondo Alu Slide-Autolock Selfie karabiner with twist lock, extra hard anodizing and a highly innovative locking system: The Slide Autolock locks itself as soon as the gate is locked. The carabiner can be opened by finger pressure on a brass slider embedded in the gate itself.</p><p>This eliminates the often annoying turning and pushing, which is normally necessary with self-locking karabiners - at the same time the carabiner does not open by itself, because the slider is virtually lowered into the gate itself.</p>
