Description

The Lowa Alpine Expert II GTX is a fully crampon-compatible alpine mountain boot that is perfectly equipped for your requirements in the high mountains. With stability, protection, and robustness, the category D mountain boot convinces in steep mixed terrain and also offers very high wearing comfort. New compared to its predecessors is the revised heel pull, which attaches to a larger section of the shaft for better hold in the boot.

Thanks to high-quality leather with solid abrasion protection, waterproof and breathable Gore-Tex® lining, and excellent PrimaLoft® 400 g insulation, your feet are very well protected against wet and cold. The anatomically precise fit, a moderately flexible shaft as well as padding, cushioning, and shaping adapted to the stride movement create a comfortable wearing sensation despite the necessary support.

The technical sole construction, sufficiently stiffened by the use of a carbon insole and quite light, offers an extra cushioning element in the heel area and with the Vibram® Alp Trac® Ice tread sole there offers the best conditions for a secure foothold on narrow edges in ice and rock. Of course, automatic crampons can be optimally fixed to the shoe.
